A.M. Cleaning Crew Member

For the Morning People

Brings a detailed eye to clean the property so it’s immaculate for the next event.

  • The A.M. Cleaning Crew Members are our morning people. They embrace the motto “the early bird gets the worm” and are not afraid of getting dirty in order to make things clean. Your job is to bring your detailed eye to clean the property so it’s immaculate for the next event.

    You will work with the rest of the crew to pick up trash, mop floors, and clean up anything that is out of order from the previous night’s celebrations. You’re a very important part of getting Legacy Hill Farm (LHF) fresh, clean and ready for the next event!

    Shifts are seasonal (April-November) and are typically 2-4 hour early morning shifts on Thursdays-Sundays when events are scheduled. You’ll be on rotation with the crew, and you should be able to work 5-15 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Work as a team with the crew to ensure the entire property is spotlessly fresh and clean

    • Clean facilities, tables, chairs, floors and anything else that’s needed

    • Clean and prep the fire pit and ensure a full supply of wood is ready for the event

    • Water and care for outdoor plants and flowers

    • Water and feed the animals

    • Walk the entire property looking for anything out of order and clean up anything that needs it

    • Kindly interact with event guests and/or vendors

    • Be kind, professional and helpful

    • Listen, answer questions, and always put the guests first

    • Provide guests with helpful information or advice for enjoying their time at LHF - if needed, connect them to the appropriate lhf team member

    • Look for opportunities to surprise and exceed guests expectations of service

    • Weed and garden flower beds and grounds, as needed

    • Troubleshoot property, facility, and equipment issues and elevate to supervisor, as needed

    • At the end of the season, prepare facilities and grounds for winter and/or other adverse weather conditions, as needed

    • Attend and participate in your assigned LHF team meetings and events

    • Communicate with your supervisor in advance about your schedule and time-off requests; in case of emergencies or sick days, contact your supervisor immediately and coordinate a coworker substitute to cover your event as needed

    Qualifications

P.M. Cleanup Crew Member

For the Night Owls

Helps with the first round of cleanup right after the wedding and celebrations wrap up.

  • The P.M. Cleanup Crew Members are our night owls. They feel like their night is just starting when other people are crawling into bed. Celebrations are the best, but post-party there’s work to do. Your job is to help with the first round of cleanup right after the events wrap up.

    You will work with the crew to pick up trash, wipe down tables and floors, and most importantly rearrange the tables and chairs for the next day’s event. You’re a very important part of getting Legacy Hill Farm (LHF) ready and clean for the next event!

    Shifts are seasonal (April-November) — typically 2-3 hour late night shifts, starting anywhere from 9pm to 11:30pm and ending anywhere from 11pm to 2am — on Thursdays-Sundays when events are scheduled. You’ll be on rotation with other crew members, and you should be able to work 5-15 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Work as a team with the crew to ensure the main spaces of the property are cleaned up, including: pick up trash, empty trash cans, wash tables/chairs/floors, etc.

    • Walk the entire property looking for anything out of order and clean up anything that needs it

Security

KEEPS THE PEACE

Oversees the property & ensures guests feel safe and welcome

  • The Security is a guardian of all the Legacy Hill Farm (LHF) spaces during weddings and events — ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our guests, staff, and property.

    LHF couples expect a serene and secure environment for their wedding day, and this requires a dedicated Venue Security team member to oversee and protect the property, ensuring every guest feels safe and welcome.

    In this role, you will guide and maintain a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. You will monitor the property, oversee guest safety, de-escalate conflicts, and enforce venue policies with professionalism and courtesy. You will be proactive in identifying and addressing potential security concerns while maintaining a warm and inviting presence.

    This is a seasonal position from April to November, with hours ranging from 12-20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

    Responsibilities

    • Arrive 3-4 hours before the end of the evening.

    • Check in, upon arrival, with the PM Venue Manager and PM Housekeeper for an updated report on activities and guest behavior throughout the day.

    • Check in, upon arrival, with the bartenders to let them know you are on-site and to get a read on how the bar has been operating throughout the day/night.

    • Be accessible to the bartenders if there are any behavioral concerns throughout the evening.

    • Monitor guest behaviors and enforce venue policies, including:

      • Ensuring guests do not bring outside alcohol onto the property.

      • Enforcing smoking restrictions (no smoking in undesignated areas).

      • Watching for signs of drug use or excessive intoxication and reporting clearly intoxicated guests to the bar.

      • Keeping guests on the property and out of unauthorized areas, such as fields.

      • Ensuring children are supervised at all times.

    • Conduct rounds every 30-40 minutes throughout the property, including the parking lot.

    • Be available to allow access to suites upon request.

    • Monitor the pavilion during the dance, ensuring no issues arise with guest behavior or excessive spills.

      • If needed, mop the dance floor

    • Monitor the firepit area, assisting in keeping the fire going.

    • Light and monitor patio heaters as needed, exchanging LP tanks when necessary.

    • Ensure the parking lot lights are on at night.

    • If it’s raining,, place rubber mats at the entrances of the barn, pavilion, and granary to prevent slipping.

    • Monitor noise levels and alert the DJ/Band if the volume exceeds 85 decibels at the fountain.

    • Stay aware of severe weather conditions and be prepared to make announcements using the DJ/Band microphone to inform guests of their window to leave.

      • If severe weather moves in quickly, direct guests where to take shelter.

    • Communicate with the DJ/Band about key announcements, including Last Call at the bar and shuttle arrivals.

    • Coordinate with shuttle drivers to confirm their schedule and give the final OK for departure, ensuring all riders are accounted for.

    • At the end of the evening, direct guests, wedding party, and vendors to their cars, shuttles, and the parking lot.

    • Remain on the property until all guests and vendors have left.

    Qualifications

    • General knowledge of security best practices and crowd management.

    • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, event security, or a related field.

    • Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

    • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to remain calm, confident, and professional in high-pressure situations.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.

    • Ability to work on your feet and perform security duties for 2-8 hour shifts.

    • Must be at least 21 years old

    • Must be reliable, punctual, and adaptable.

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Grounds & Facilities Manager

CARETAKER of the LHF SPACEs

Takes exceptional care of the grounds, buildings, and more.

  • The Grounds & Facilities Manager is a caretaker of all the Legacy Hill Farm (LHF) spaces — from the grounds to the buildings to the fences.

    LHF couples look for and expect a beautiful place to get married, and this requires an exceptional Grounds & Facilities Manager to care of the property’s lawn, grounds, fences and buildings (interior and exterior).

    In this role, you will proactively maintain the LHF grounds and facilities so everyone who steps foot on the property feels the peace and beauty of well-cared-for spaces — from every corner of the property.

    You will complete routine cleaning and maintenance of the grounds, buildings, and parking area. You will mow, trim, rake, weed, plant, and fertilize. You will paint fences and buildings. You will take responsibility for the property and make sure everything across the grounds is immaculate and ready to go for each wedding.

    This is a year round position, and you should be able to work 12-20 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Work collaboratively with LHF owners and staff to ensure the entire property is wonderfully cared for

    • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the grounds, buildings, and parking areas as directed by your supervisor

    • Mow, trim, fertilize, rake and water grass and plants

    • Remove weeds and sticks; trim trees, as needed

    • Paint fences and buildings, as needed

    • Building, repairing, and maintenance projects, as needed

    • Safely operate power tools and equipment (mowers, weed trimmers, etc.) for grounds maintenance and ensure equipment remains in good, working order

    • Troubleshoot property, facility, and equipment issues and elevate to supervisor, as needed

    • Spray property with appropriate chemicals to control weeds and insects, as needed

    • At the end of the season, prepare facilities and grounds for winter and/or other adverse weather conditions, as needed

    • Clear and remove snow and ice during winter season, as needed

    • Be professional in all interactions with LHF team, guests, and vendors

    • Attend and participate in your assigned LHF team meetings and events

    • Communicate with your supervisor in advance about your schedule and time-off requests; in case of emergencies or sick days, contact your supervisor immediately and coordinate a coworker substitute to cover your event as needed

Venue Housekeeper

Ensures spaces are fresh and well-kept throughout the event’s evening hours.

  • The venue housekeepers are our detailed and friendly hospitality team members. No one likes an event space that gets messier and unkempt as the night goes on. Your job is to make a lasting positive impression on guests by maintaining clean and tidy spaces throughout the event.

    You will make sure events at Legacy Hill Farm (LHF) are fresh and well-kept throughout the evening hours. You will clean the venue suites in preparation for the next event. You will also maintain the restrooms and empty trash cans throughout the property. You’re a very important part of ensuring guests are well-cared for at their big event!

    Shifts are seasonal (April-November). They are typically 2-5 hour evenings/late nights (5-11pm) shifts on Thursdays-Sundays when events are scheduled. You’ll be on rotation with the legacy attendants, and you should be able to work 5-25 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Clean and maintain the venue suites after guests are out of the space and prepare for the next day’s event

    • Ensure restrooms remain clean and stocked with supplies throughout the evening

    • Pick up trash and empty trash cans throughout the property throughout the evening

    • Sweep floors and organize furniture at the bar and patio during the wedding dinner hour

    • Report all property, facility, and equipment issues and elevate to security

  • Venue Managers serve as our hospitality concierge. Their top priority is to ensure everyone at Legacy Hill Farm (LHF) is superbly taken care of.

    As a Venue Manager, you will warmly welcome the couple, wedding party, guests, and vendors — directing them where to go, sharing what they need to know, and letting them know you’re the venue point of contact if they should need anything. You will manage and make sure all LHF spaces are clean, presentable and ready for guests. You will be proactive in anticipating and attending to guests needs and uphold a high standard of customer service and excellence every step of the way. You are positive, calm, and steady throughout the entire event. You set the tone for the couple and all attendees experience at LHF and are attentive to any client, guest or vendor needs so things run smoothly.

    Shifts are seasonal (April-November) and are typically 7-9 hours on Thursdays-Sundays when events are scheduled. You should be able to work 7-25 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as LHF’s hospitality concierge — attending to and caring for the couple, wedding guests and vendors

  • The parking attendants are our first impressions crew. Parking can be a stressful experience for people arriving at a new location. Your job is to make the parking experience easy, inviting and stress-free!

    You will be the first to meet and greet every guest that arrives at legacy hill farm (LHF) with a big smile and wave. You will warmly welcome the event guests and direct them to their parking space. You will work alongside other parking attendants to make sure the parking process flows safely and smoothly.

    Shifts are seasonal (April-November) and are typically 2-3 hours on Thursdays-Sundays when events are scheduled. You’ll be on rotation with other parking attendants, and you should be able to work 5-15 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Work as a team with the parking attendants to keep the parking process smooth and efficient

    • Warmly and sincerely greet every guest as they arrive

    • Clearly and safely direct guests to their parking spaces

    • Jog/run in parking lot as needed to maintain efficient parking and ensure each guest is greeted
